ABOUT
José R. Toro-Morales is a shareholder and director at TCM, where he brings together his background in law, business, and accounting to help clients navigate complex real estate and commercial transactions. Before joining the firm, José was a partner at McConnell Valdés, LLC, focusing on real estate and commercial financing.
His law career began at the Puerto Rico Supreme Court, where he served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Federico Hernández-Denton, then Associate Justice. Earlier still, José worked as a certified public accountant (CPA) in the audit department of a major international accounting firm in San Juan — experience that gives him a practical understanding of the financial side of his clients’ needs.
At TCM, José represents borrowers in loan transactions and real estate financing involving residential, commercial, and industrial properties. He also advises on a broad range of real estate and business matters, from land and building acquisitions and condominium developments to commercial leases and business purchases. Clients also turn to him for guidance in estate-related matters.
